Binge over the Holiday’s

We’ve put in some serious TV watching time here in our household over the holiday’s, well, to be completely honest, over the whole 2020 year.  Some of my most recent watches have included documentaries, series and movies.
Bridgerton was our most recent binge, which came out on Netflix.  It was surprisingly entertaining.  Very colorful scenery, costumes and story line.
The Queen’s Gambit was another great series that I didn’t think I’d get into as much as I did.  It is definitely worth checking out.
Wonder Woman 84 (WW84) which we checked out on Christmas Day, was offered up by HBO Max and was very entertaining.  Some cheesy parts but Gal Gadot and Kristen Wiig were great together.  And the special effects were pretty amazing too.
The Crown, season 5 included the story of Princess Diana and opened our eyes to some of the politics of Margaret Thatcher
Selena, The Series was another surprise that brought up some wonderful background stories on the singer along with a flashback soundtrack representing that time period.
My Octopus Teacher was suggested by a friend, and we were totally enthralled with this documentary.  Our 4K TV was a wonderful way to view the breathtaking scenes in which a filmmaker forges an unusual friendship with an octopus living in a South African kelp forest, learning as the animal shares the mysteries of her world.
All in all, these are but a few offerings that I feel are worth the investment of time to watch and be entertained during the Covid shutdown.
